PacVentures Inc. to use Hofman Planning & Engineering Services for Bear Valley Storage Facility in Unincorporated San Diego County

The Bear Valley Storage project proposes a 92,644 SF self-storage facility on 4.01-acre site that is split-zoned for Rural Residential and Agriculture and would require a Major Use Permit. The project site is located west of Bear Valley Parkway, south of San Pasqual Valley Road and northeast of Lendee Drive/Bear Valley Road in unincorporated San Diego County. PacVentures has contracted with HPE both because of HPE’s planning expertise and ability to provide project coordination. The project does face opposition by the Bear Valley Rural Neighborhood Association, a community outreach meeting was held by HPE on January 16, 2008 to address the concerns of the community and to incorporate those concerns into the project design. HPE will make its first submittal to the County of San Diego in April 2008.
