Hofman Planning and Engineering (HPE) is a land use planning, fiscal, environmental services and civil engineering firm, located in Carlsbad, California. Formed in 1985, HPE has earned the privilege of serving a variety of private and public sector clients throughout California and the Pacific Northwest. Our newly established Civil Engineering division is headed up by our Director of Engineering, Bob Wojcik, PE. This division offers all of your civil engineering needs including subdivision maps, grading and improvement plans, parcel maps, storm water management plans, hydrologic studies and more. Bob leads this division having over 28 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.
Specific project experience includes: master planned communities; energy facility planning and permitting, urban infill projects, local facilities management plans, coastal planning, development impact fees, resort/entertainment theme parks, solid waste transfer facilities, public infrastructure planning/needs assessments, mixed use employment and retail business parks, office buildings, environmental permitting and regulatory compliance for private sector and industry clients.
HPE personnel have educational backgrounds in a variety of disciplines including urban and regional planning, civil engineering, geography, environmental analysis and policy, political science, and coastal geomorphology.
